Here are the traditional hand rankings listed from highest to lowest used when playing Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and 7 Card Stud.
Royal Flush
Five cards of the same suit in sequence from 10 to Ace.
Straight Flush
Five cards of the same suit in sequence.
4 of a Kind
4 cards of the matching same rank with the fifth card, known as the kicker.
Full House
3 cards of the matching same rank width the other cards matching of a different rank.
Flush
Five cards of the same suit in any order.
Straight
Five cards in sequence of any suit.
Three of a kind
Three cards of the same rank.
Two Pair
Two cards of the same rank, with two other cards matching of a different rank.
One Pair
Two cards of the same rank.
High Card
A hand in which no two cards have the same rank, the five cards are not in sequence or suit. The value of the hand is then determined by the highest card held.
