NFL Week 3 Schedule with Week 3 Betting Lines
Thursday, September 21Rams 4249ers +3
Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse than watching paint dry as we had last week when the Bengals and Texans played on Thursday Night Football, now we get the Rams and 49ers!
Sunday, September 24Ravens 40.5Jaguars +4
Joe Flacco is starting to look more and more comfortable with each snap that he's taking. Remember that he didn't play in the entire preseason. If he's bound to get better, the Ravens could become a really scary team in the not-distant future.
Browns 41Colts +2.5
Congrats, Indy. You're the first team in 10 years to be an underdog of more than a point at home against the Browns. It's not like Cleveland has been lighting the world on fire. But without Andrew Luck, the Colts are a disaster.
Steelers 46Bears +8
We wouldn't be surprised at some point this week if John Fox decided that it was time to turn the ball over to Mitch Trubisky after that devastating performance Mike Glennon had against the Bucs in Week 2.
Dolphins 41Jets +6.5
The Dolphins have a lousy kicker to thank for being 1-0. They can probably thank the Jets for being 2-0 by the time Sunday in said and done with.
Broncos 41Bills +1
Of all of the home underdogs in Week 3, this one makes the least amount of sense. Didn't the Bills just play a horrid game and score just three points against Carolina? And didn't the Broncos just rip the Cowboys? It feels like Denver should be more than just -1.
Texans 44Patriots -12
Deshaun Watson's second career start is going to come against the Patriots. In Foxboro. Good luck with that, kid.
Cam Newton isn't going to have the services of Greg Olsen for a good, long while, and that could be a big problem going into Sunday's game with the Saints. You know you're going to have to score a bunch to beat New Orleans.
Sam Bradford went from a curious absentee at practice to a late scratch in Week 2. There's a big difference between him under center and Case Keenum under center, and that's why this line is going to stay off the board for a while.
This should be another one of these really high flying games where defense is completely and utterly optional.
Carson Wentz has thrown the ball a lot more often this year than he probably would have liked. The Giants are going to hope to avoid a second loss in division play to start the season.
Seahawks 44Titans -1
The Seahawks have scored just one touchdown in two games this season, and it took seven and a half quarters to finally get that one on the board.
Chiefs 45.5Chargers +3.5
The Chargers couldn't even sell out their 27,000-seat venue in their first ever game back in Los Angeles. What does that tell you about the HFA in this game?
Ken Zampese was fired after two anemic games by the Cincinnati offense. We'll have to see if the team can put its first touchdown on the board in Week 3.
Raiders 53.5Redskins +3.5
Samaje Perine is set to take over as Washington's running back, but he's really only the secondary story here. Derek Carr and Kirk Cousins are clearly going to take center stage.
Monday, September 25CowboysCardinals +3.5
The Cards and Cowboys both looked really, really bad in Week 2. Now, they both have some work to do to get ready for the meeting in Glendale that could ultimately play a role in the playoff picture when push comes to shove.
