Format and Rules
Eight players will compete in a tournament style bracket format. Each player will have four minutes to clobber as many home runs as possible. Hitters will be rewarded an extra 30 seconds if they hit two home runs at a distance of 440 feet or greater. A hitter can call one 45 second time out in the quarter or semifinals with two timeouts allowed in the finals. In the final minute any home runs hit off a T-Mobile ball will result in a $10,000 donation to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. T-Mobile and Major League Baseball will make those charitable donations.
Seedings and Tiebreakers
The competitors are seeded 1-8 based on their home run totals for the year. The higher seed bats last in all rounds and the rounds will end at any time the higher seed surpasses the home run total of the lower seed. In the event of a tie there are a total of three tie breakers that will be utilized. The first tie breaker will be a 90 second swing off with no time outs or bonus time. The second tie breaker is each player getting three swings. If still tied after that a sudden death swing competition will take place.

Top seeded Jesus Aguilar of the Milwaukee Brewers will face Rhys Hoskins of the Philadelphia Phillies. Second seed Bryce Harper of the Washington Nationals will face Freddie Freeman of the Atlanta Braves. Third seed Max Muncy of the Los Angeles Dodgers will face Javier Baez of the Chicago Cubs. Fourth seed Alex Bregman of the Houston Astros will face Kyle Schwarber of the Chicago Cubs.
