Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals is featured in NBA Games of the Week, as the Golden State Warriors visit the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, May 20 with a start time of 9 pm Eastern on ESPN. It will be a critical game for the Spurs who figure to be down 0-2 in the series after the first two games in Oakland. The Spurs had their chance to win Game 1 of this series but blew a huge lead, and they lost Kawhi Leonard to injury. San Antonio is hoping that Leonard will be a full strength for Game 3 on Saturday at home.

Warriors vs. Spurs ATS Picks
The San Antonio Spurs had every chance to win Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals but they blew a huge lead and realistically ended any chance they had to win this series. The Spurs were huge underdogs before the series began and after losing Game 1 and losing Leonard to injury, those odds went up even more. Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant led a huge Golden State comeback and the Spurs couldn’t do anything without Leonard in the lineup. Golden State went on an 18-0 run once Leonard left the game and the outscored the Spurs by 25 points after Leonard was gone. Curry and Durant scored 74 of Golden State’s 113 points in Game 1.
Golden State played really bad in Game 1 and still ended up with a win. If this series was to be competitive, the Spurs had to win Game 1 and they didn’t. The Spurs may do well now just to not get swept and get the series back to Oakland for Game 5.

Warriors vs. Spurs TV Coverage: ESPN
Game 3 on Saturday has the series shifting to San Antonio after the first two games were played in Oakland. The Warriors went 31-10 on the road during the regular season, while the Spurs were 31-10 at home. The Warriors won all four of their road games in the previous two series against Portland and Utah, while the Spurs won five of their six home games in the previous two series against Memphis and Houston.
Golden State wasn’t anything special ATS on the road during the regular season, going 19-21-1 but they covered all four games on the road against Portland and Utah in the playoffs.
The Spurs were just 19-22 ATS at home during the regular season and they are 4-2 ATS at home in the playoffs.
The Spurs have won 7 of the last 10 at home in this series against the Warriors but Golden State has won two of the last three including 110-98 at San Antonio back in late March. Four of the last five in San Antonio have gone under the total.
Warriors vs. Spurs Free Picks
If the Spurs are to have any chance of making this series competitive they have to win Game 3 on Saturday night. The problem for San Antonio is that they just aren’t good enough, as they need great play from Leonard just to have a chance and there are definite questions about his ankle injury. Golden State got away with a bad performance in Game 1 of this series and it should have served as a wakeup call. I will take the Warriors to win Game 3 on Saturday night and also play the game under the total. Make sure to check back for odds at BetCris.
