Boxing Odds

Conor McGregor +325

Floyd Mayweather Jr. -450

Rounds 8.5 (under -135)

The odds on the fight opened up months ago with Mayweather listed as more than a 10-1 favorite. The public has been pounding McGregor on a regular basis, as the odds have been cut by more than half. Bettors have also been taking the rounds to go under, as the under is now listed at -135.

Mayweather Wins by KO, TKO or DQ -160

The odds on Mayweather winning by knockout have dropped, as Mayweather was listed as more than a 2-1 favorite on this prop when the odds were first released. Mayweather doesn’t have a ton of power, so it is no surprise that the odds on this prop are dropping, although Mayweather has been saying to anyone who will listen that he is going to fight aggressively.

Mayweather Wins by Decision +180

It is a little surprising that the odds on this prop are nearly 2-1 since Mayweather wins most of his fights by decision. He has not knocked anyone out in almost six years. Oddsmakers believe the fight is not going the distance, so there something has to give with this prop.

McGregor Wins by KO, TKO or DQ +450

The odds on McGregor winning by knockout are a little better than his overall odds to win, so if you like McGregor to win, then this is the prop for you. Not many people give McGregor much of a chance to win a decision.

McGregor Wins by Decision +1500

The odds on this prop should probably be higher, as McGregor is simply not going to outbox Mayweather and win a decision unless the judges fix the fight. If the fight does the distance, logically it would be Mayweather who gets the decision.

Draw +3500

The odds on this prop should also be higher, although just as in the previous prop, the judges may be in the tank and decide to score the fight a draw to ensure a rematch.

Will McGregor Get Knocked Down?

Yes -180

No +140

The odds on this prop are really surprising, as McGregor is extremely tough, and Mayweather simply doesn’t have a lot of power. You can get plus money on McGregor not getting knocked down.

Will Mayweather Get Knocked Down?

Yes +300

No -400

The odds on this prop are not that different from the overall odds on the fight, and that makes sense considering most people believe that if McGregor wins, it will be by knockout.

Will McGregor get Disqualified?

Yes +500

No -900

Not many people believe that McGregor has much chance of getting disqualified, as he has prepared for this fight for months. If you go with the conventional opinion you have to lay 9-1.

Biggest Boxing Event of All-Time

The three biggest boxing pay-per-view events of all-time involved Mayweather, as he defeated Oscar De La Hoya in 2007, Canelo Alvarez in 2013 and Manny Pacquiao in 2015. The pay-per-view price on this fight is $99.95 for HD and $89.95 for non-HD. Early estimates are predicting about five million buys, which would mean over $475 million in revenue. People watching the event live at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas are paying an average of $4,451.
