There are only three undefeated teams remaining in the CFL heading into Week 3, and two of them will face off on Thursday Night Football. The Ottawa Redblacks will hit the road to face off against the Calgary Stampeders in an exciting early-season matchup of two teams hoping to be in contention for the Grey Cup when the season winds down in a couple of months.
Ottawa was impressive in its opener but will be a sizable underdog as it must play in a hostile environment in this matchup. Calgary is rolling thus far and can make another big statement by cruising past a talented Redblacks team.
There is a long way to go and there are bound to be many twists and turns in the CFL season. However, these two teams have started well and want to keep it going. One will run into a roadblock at the final buzzer as only one of these teams will remain undefeated soon in CFL wagering.
The Ottawa Redblacks and Calgary Stampeders will face off on Thursday, June 26, 2018, at 8 p.m. ET at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The Stampeders come in as eight-point favorites as the oddsmakers are giving them a nod for some long-term excellence in addition to the great start. More than 60 percent of the action is on Calgary to cover even with the high spread.
The scoring total is listed at 56.5 points as the oddsmakers are projecting a shootout. Calgary’s offense is elite and Ottawa showed the ability to put up points in a hurry last time out. This should certainly be an intriguing matchup in CFL gambling.
Player To Watch
Ottawa quarterback Trevor Harris came out slinging in the team’s season-opening blowout victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders last week. He finished the contest 26-of-36 for 345 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.
Harris’ completion percentage of 72.2 is the second-best mark among quarterbacks in the CFL and he will aim to keep dicing up coverages in this one. The Redblacks’ defense was solid in the opener and so Harris didn’t have to do a bunch in the second half of the blowout, and while they would love to force four turnovers again, it seems unlikely to happen against the Calgary offense.
Harris could be needed to have another huge game but if the first contest is any indication he could be up to the task.

2. That’s how many ties these teams have registered against each other in the past two years. The first came in 2016 when they fought to a 26-26 draw in the third week of the season.
The most recent one came in 2017 with a 31-31 decision as Ottawa rallied late behind Harris to knot the game up, and the teams traded field goals in the extra session.
It is rare to see a tie and unthinkable for the same two teams to do it twice in two years. Will it happen again? Don’t bet on it in CFL gambling.

These two teams have become pretty good rivals of late with a lot of entertaining contests with plenty of talent and scoring on each side. Ottawa is too big of an underdog in this game. While the Stampeders are the choice to win at home, the Redblacks should be able to cover.
The “under” is the pick as each side will be able to muster up some semblance of defense in key stages to keep this one from becoming a shootout in CFL betting lines.
CFL ATS Pick: Calgary Stampeders 29, Ottawa Redblacks 24
