The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have been on the road for the majority of the first portion of the CFL season, but get a chance to return home in Week 6. Hamilton is 2-2 on the season and tied for first place in the East Division. The Ti-Cats would love to push for sole possession atop the division and they will have that chance in a matchup against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Week 6 in CFL wagering.
Hamilton is also 2-2 on the year but is in the tougher West Division and is hoping to keep pace with the undefeated Calgary Stampeders. This is an important game for both sides as they each are aiming to get in position to make a playoff run.

The teams might have identical records but the oddsmakers are clear on which team is the one to beat. The Tiger-Cats are 10-point favorites to take care of business at home in this matchup. Even with such a high spread, more than 55 percent of the action is on Hamilton to cover.
The scoring total is listed at 51 points, with the “under” the more popular choice. More than 77 percent of the betting action believes these teams will fail to score that many points in CFL gambling.
Player To Watch
Jeremiah Masoli -- The Hamilton quarterback has thrown for 1,378 yards already this season, the second-most in the CFL. He has thrown four touchdowns and four interceptions this year. . Masoli is playing so well, in fact, that former Heisman trophy winner Johnny Manziel -- who was a highly anticipated addition to the Hamilton roster this offseason -- has remained on the bench.
Masoli tied a league record earlier this month when he notched his ninth straight game of 300 passing yards or more and has a chance to break it in this game against the Roughriders. The 29-year-old should be well-rested after the Tiger-Cats’ bye last week. Masoli is the player that Saskatchewan must stop in order to have a chance at pulling off the upset.
2. That’s the number of quarterbacks expected to see the field for Saskatchewan in this matchup as Brandon Bridge and David Watford split time. Bridge is getting the majority of the action but he has struggled at times and thus is getting replaced often.
Neither player has lit the world on fire and the offensive ineptitude is the reason why the Roughriders are heavy underdogs in this matchup. Saskatchewan needs the passing game to improve in order to have a legitimate shot at keeping pace in the division.

Hamilton has a lot going for it right now, led by Masoli. The team’s record isn’t great but things are looking up in this return home. The Tiger-Cats are the choice to win this matchup but the spread is a bit too high.
Look for the Roughriders to put up a fight and keep it closer than expected. The “under” is the pick as Masoli will have some hiccups in CFL betting.
CFL ATS Pick: Hamilton Tiger-Cats 25, Saskatchewan Roughriders 20
