Bet the Bowls at BetCris

Saturday, December 17

Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl

North Carolina Central vs. Grambling – 12 pm Eastern. ABC

Neither of these teams is normal board teams so there will be very little action on this game. Grambling is listed as more than a two-touchdown favorite with the total near 60.

Gildan New Mexico Bowl

UTSA vs. New Mexico – 2 pm Eastern. ESPN

This should be a high scoring game between Texas-San Antonio and New Mexico with the Lobos favored. New Mexico has the edge playing at home so they should be able to win this contest. The Lobos are 7-point favorites at BetCris with the total listed at 63.5.

Las Vegas Bowl – 3:30 pm Eastern. ABC

Houston vs. San Diego State

The Cougars are 3-point favorites in this contest with the total listed at 54.5. The Cougars feature Greg Ward Jr. and a potent offense while the Aztecs feature a defense that allowed just 21 points per game.

Raycom Media Camellia Bowl – 5:30 pm Eastern. ESPN

Appalachian State vs. Toledo

The Rockets are 1-point favorites with the total at 58. The Rockets have a higher profile as this is just the second bowl game in history for Appalachian State. This should be a high scoring game with Toledo averaging about 39 points per game while the Mountaineers score nearly 30 points per game.

AutoNation Cure Bowl – 5:30 pm Eastern. CBS Sports Network

Central Florida vs. Arkansas State

Central Florida is listed as nearly a TD favorite in this contest with the total at 49. The Knights had a huge bounce back season as they finished 6-6 a year after going 0-12. Arkansas State went 7-5 SU and 6-6 ATS this season.

R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl – 9 pm Eastern. ESPN

Southern Mississippi vs. Louisiana-Lafayette

The Golden Eagles are 3.5-point favorites with the total listed at 58. Both teams went 6-6 this season. Southern Miss is favored in this one but it should be noted the Golden Eagles were just 3-9 ATS this season while Louisiana-Lafayette was 8-4 ATS.

Monday, December 19

Miami Beach Bowl – 2:30 pm Eastern. ESPN

Central Michigan vs. Tulsa

The Golden Hurricane are getting a lot of respect from the oddsmakers as they are listed as 12-point favorites with the total at 67.5. This may not be a walk in the park for Tulsa as Central Michigan is very motivated to get a rare bowl win. Tulsa has the superior offense as they put up over 41 points per game while Central Michigan averaged about 28 per game.

Tuesday, December 20

Boca Raton Bowl – 7 pm Eastern. ESPN

Memphis vs. Western Kentucky

This should be a shootout with Western Kentucky listed as a 5-point favorite with the total at 78. The Tigers averaged 39.5 points per game while the Hilltoppers averaged just over 45 points per game which was 2nd in the nation. It might be the first team to score 50 wins this game.

Tuesday, December 21

San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl – 9 pm Eastern. ESPN

BYU vs. Wyoming

These two former rivals will battle in the Poinsettia Bowl on ESPN. The Cougars are listed as 9-point favorites with the total at 56.5. BYU will be without their starting quarterback Taysom Hill who is injured but the backup Tanner Mangum does have a lot of experience. The Cougars rely on defense to win as they allowed just 19 points per game this season. Wyoming tries to outscore opponents as they averaged 37 points per game while allowing 34.
