Games of the Week

Texas A&M Aggies at Alabama Crimson Tide 3:30 p.m. ET

The best matchup in Week 8 has the 6th-ranked Aggies visiting the top-ranked Crimson Tide. Both teams come into this game unbeaten so the winner will be in a great position to win the SEC West.

The Aggies are coming off their bye week after beating Tennessee in overtime while the Crimson Tide demolished the Volunteers 49-10 last week.

This could be a high scoring contest as the Aggies are averaging 40 points per game while the Crimson Tide are putting up 45 per contest.

Arkansas Razorbacks at Auburn Tigers 6:00 pm

The 17th-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks visit the 21st-ranked Auburn Tigers on Saturday night on ESPN. The Razorbacks are coming off a good win last week over Ole Miss as Austin Allen threw for 229 yards and three scores.

The Tigers have turned the corner with three straight wins with a big reason being that head coach Gus Malzahn gave up play-calling duties. The Tigers are 12th in the country in rushing yards, averaging 262.8 yards per game.

This game will come down to which defense can stop or slow down the opposing running game.

Mississippi Rebels at LSU Tigers – 9:00 p.m. ET

A top 25 matchup takes place late on Saturday as the 23rd-ranked Rebels visit the 25th- ranked Tigers. It will be an interesting game for LSU head coach Ed Orgeron who used to coach Ole Miss. Orgeron will be going up against his former co-worker and friend Hugh Freeze. Not many memories are pleasant for Orgeron in his time at Oxford other than his relationship with Freeze.

“Whatever happened there happened for a reason, and I moved on,” he said. “I've been a coach at several other places before. I don't have many memories of that place that I want to remember.”

The Rebels won 38-17 last season in Oxford against the Tigers.
