Preseason NFL Week 2 Schedule with Week 2 Betting Lines
Thursday, August 17
Jay Cutler's Dolphins debut should come against a team that is historically one of the better in the preseason.
How fitting is it that the Eagles and Bills get to meet on the field against each other just mere days after pulling off one of the strangest and most unpredictable trades we've seen in the NFL in years? Just don't expect Ronald Darby or Jordan Matthews to be on the field in this one.
Both the Bucs and Jags looked sound offensively in Week 1 of the preseason, but the history of these two teams and their preseason rivalry suggests that this will be a lower scoring game.
Friday, August 18
Vikings 41.5Seahawks -3
No team was more impressive than Seattle in Week 1 of the preseason, but let's not forget that the Vikings have just one loss under Mike Zimmer in the preseason in their history.
Saturday, August 19
Panthers 41Titans -2.5
This should be the first semi-extended play we see out of Marcus Mariota in the preseason, and that'll be a nice show for the Titans fans who come out for the second preseason game.
Cincinnati played about as clean of a game as you could have asked for a first preseason game last week. Going against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs could be a different story.
Remember last week when no one gave Jacksonville a chance against New England? The same will be said here for the Colts in Dallas in Week 2.
The lowly Jets only put seven points on the board last week against the Titans, but that was good enough to get the job done in a horrid 7-3 game.
Neither Aaron Rodgers nor Kirk Cousins are expected to see much time in this one, but the backup quarterbacks this game has to offer are worth the price of admission.
Texans -1vBill O'Brien and Bill Belichick apparently have no fear of playing against each other in the preseason even though these two teams met in the divisional round of the playoffs a season ago.
C.J. Beathard had a memorable debut for the 49ers last week. This will be his first shot to impress his home crowd against a strong and deep Denver defense.
Derek Carr back in a home uniform in Oakland is going to be music to the ears of the faithful who had to watch him finish last season being carted off the field.
Mitch Trubisky didn't put on a bad first showing in his NFL career in Week 1 of the preseason. Dare we say that he looks the part of the better of the two quarterbacks in the Windy City right now?
Sunday, August 20
A lot of action will probably come in on the Falcons in this game if news breaks that Ben Roethlisberger is going to sit out a second straight preseason game.
The Chargers were embarrassed at home in Week 1 of the preseason by Seattle. How will the team rebound from a 31-point loss, a defeat that marred the debut game for the club in LA?
Monday, August 21
Stop the season. The Browns are 1-0. Including the preseason last year, they only won one of their 20 games. They're off and running in 2017 and are favored to double last season's win production.
