Tiger Woods Odds for Winning the Grand Slam

The PGA Championship takes place this week and not only can you bet on Tiger winning that major, you can also bet on whether or not you think Tiger will win the Grand Slam. The bettor that won over $1 million dollars when Tiger won the Masters has risked some of that money, betting that Tiger will win the Grand Slam. He put $100,000 on Tiger winning the Grand Slam and he got odds of 100-1. He should have bet that money at Betcris where he would have received odds of 125-1 on Tiger winning the Grand Slam.

How Many Majors Will Tiger Woods Win in 2019?

  • 1 Major -445
  • 2 Majors +405
  • 3 Majors +1025
  • 4 Majors +12550

The odds on Tiger winning the Grand Slam sound exciting at 125-1 until you really think about it. Tiger in his prime didn’t even win the Grand Slam although he did win all four majors in a row. He won the U.S. Open, Open Championship and PGA Championship in 2000 and then in 2001 he won the Masters. It was not a Grand Slam because he didn’t win all four majors in the same year, but it was nicknamed the “Tiger Slam” since it was winning four in a row. No golfer has ever won golf’s Grand Slam.

The interesting part about the odds at Betcris is that you can bet on the exact amount of majors you think Tiger will win this year. If you think Tiger’s win at the Masters was somewhat of a fluke then you can put on him winning just that one major this year and laying -445. If you think he has a chance to win another major then you could choose to bet the two majors option or even the three majors option. It seems highly unlikely that Tiger will win more than two majors and just getting another one is a longshot. Winning all four would be incredible and the odds of 125-1 are probably not high enough, but they are sure better than the 100-1 that at least one big bettor took recently.

Will Tiger Woods Win the 2019 PGA Championship?

  • Yes +1015
  • No -1615

If you want to bet on Tiger winning the PGA Championship you can do so at Betcris. You can get him at odds of about 10-1, as he is one of the favorites. You can also bet against Tiger winning the PGA and lay -1615. Tiger won the 2002 U.S. Open at Bethpage Black but that was when he was 26 years old. He is a much different golfer now than he was then. Woods had a distance advantage off the tee in 2002 but that is no longer the case. He also doesn’t drive the ball as straight as he did 17 years ago and he won’t be able to get away with wayward drives like he did at Augusta. Tiger is not going to win at Bethpage playing from the rough.

Keep in mind that other than his win at Bethpage in 2002, Tiger has not done well in majors played in New York and New Jersey, as he has a withdrawal, a tie for 29th, a tie for 9th, a tie for 4th, a missed cut, a tie for 6th and a missed cut.

Will Tiger Woods Win the 2019 U.S. Open?

  • Yes +1015
  • No -1615

You can do the exact same thing with Tiger winning the U.S. Open. Keep in mind that this year’s U.S. Open is at Pebble Beach and that is a course that Tiger knows really well, having won the 2000 U.S. Open at Pebble by an amazing 15 shots.

Will Tiger Woods Win the 2019 Open Championship?

  • Yes +1015
  • No -1615

The final major of the season is the Open Championship and it would seem to be the one that is the least likely for Tiger to win. Tiger has won the Open three times, but this year’s Open is in Northern Ireland at Royal Portrush. It is a long course that may not be suited to Tiger’s game.
