  • Betcris.com The first Saturday in May is the best day for horse racing fans, and the Run for the Roses is taking shape as we near the May 4 running of the Kentucky Derby. Following a win at the Santa Anita Derby, Roadster vaulted to the top of the odds board at +500, and it’s a nice place to be since the last five winners at Churchill Downs were all betting favorites. One thing we can be sure of is that legendary trainer Bob Baffert will have a say in this year’s winner of the first leg of the Triple Crown. A Baffert-trained horse, or several of them, will be among the favorites when the bell rings.     Dubai World Cup Odds and Predictions

    Betcris.com The richest day in racing, (sorry Breeders’ Cup) actually takes place on Saturday in Dubai, with $35 million dollars in purses up for grabs. The highlight of the day will be the $12 million dollar Dubai World Cup where Thunder Snow tries to become the first horse to ever win the race twice. "He's always tough and no horse has won this race twice," said trainer Saeed bin Suroor to the media, "It would be good to see him win for the second year. He's always tried.
