BETCRIS UFC 217 Bisping vs St Pierre betting odds

UFC 217 on Saturday in New York features Michael Bisping taking on Georges St-Pierre and Cody Garbrandt going against T.J. Dillashaw. Bisping is the current middleweight champion, while St-Pierre is a former champion who has not been in action since 2013. The fight between Garbrandt and Dillashaw is also a title bout, with Garbrandt coming in at 11-0, while Dillashaw is 14-3. Let’s look at a great UFC 217 card with a focus on the two big title fights.

Bet on UFC at BetCris

Georges St-Pierre -120 vs. Michael Bisping

St-Pierre is 25-2 in his career and although he has not fought since 2013, he has won his last 12 bouts. St-Pierre is still considered one of the best fighters in UFC history, but he has not impressed Bisping. “He’s fought a lot of the same people over that period,” Bisping said in the press conference for this event. “He’s fought them multiple times. And if you go through the opponents. I mean, BJ Penn, who he fought twice or three times, he’s a featherweight, right? Johny Hendricks, I mean look at Johny Hendricks these days. But still. Nick Diaz is a welterweight. Carlos Condit, oh, that’s a good win. Josh Koscheck, Dan Hardy, Thiago Alves, lightweight. BJ Penn, featherweight, Matt Serra, lightweight. These are all smaller guys.”

Bisping is 31-7 in his career and he has won his last five bouts. He has not lost since a 2014 fight against Luke Rockhold. He will be defending his title for the second time. Bisping has big time knockout power but rarely does anyone threaten St-Pierre. It has been almost four years since St-Pierre has been seen in action, but he is excellent on the mat and he almost always controls his fights.

UFC Picks

St-Pierre has not fought in a long time, but he is extremely confident heading into this bout against Bisping. “But he’s going to lose November 4th. This I guarantee you.” St-Pierre said in the press conference about Bisping. “He’s not going to beat me. Nothing is more sure. “Water is wet, fire burns, and I’m going to beat Michael Bisping.” I think St-Pierre is still a better fighter than Bisping and I believe what St-Pierre is saying, so I will take him to win this fight.

Cody Garbrandt -160 vs. T.J. Dillashaw

Garbrandt will be defending his bantamweight title against Dillashaw on Saturday. These former teammates were supposed to fight last month at UFC 213 but Garbrandt had to pull out due to injury. Garbrandt has not fought in almost a year, as he won the bantamweight title from Dominick Cruz last December. Dillashaw has also not fought since last December, as he is coming off a win against John Lineker.

Garbrandt said in the conference call that he doesn’t expect any trouble in his fight against Dillashaw. “This is a gimme fight, too. This is a fight for me that I’m going to end this dude, and go on, and I can pick my fights after that. I’m going to go down to fight ‘Mighty Mouse’ at 125, and that’s just business. I like the guy a lot, but that’s just a business move for me.”

UFC Picks

I am surprised the odds on Garbrandt are not higher, as he is unbeaten and the champion, while Dillashaw has three losses. I will lay the price and take Garbrandt in this fight.
