  • No English team has won a domestic treble. The burden of winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup has proven to be too much for any other squad in English soccer history, but Manchester City can change that this Saturday. City have already claimed the League Cup and the Premier League titles, and they can add the FA Cup to their trophy case this Saturday. Watford will be out to stop City from making history.   More

  • Manchester City have a chance to win an unheard of four trophies in one season. The Citizens have been the most impressive team in England this year, and they have already claimed the Carabao Cup. They are leading the Premier League, have made it to the Champions League Quarterfinals, and they are the odds-on favorites to win the 2018-19 FA Cup. Manchester City are the only Big Six team left, and they are out to win their first league cup in eight years. Wolverhampton Wanderers, Watford FC, and Brighton & Hove Albion FC are looking to upset the apple cart.   More

  • The two Manchester clubs are the only Big Six clubs still alive in the FA Cup, and they are the favorites to win the cup. Manchester City are certainly the favorites to win it all, and they are likely odds-on to win their first FA Cup since 2011 at this point. They have a chance to win an unprecedented quadruple after winning the Carabao Cup, and they have an incredibly favorable draw. Manchester United are the most recent champions still alive. FA Cup Fifth Round Preview

By Jonathan Willis For the first time in nearly four decades, we might have a team from outside the top flight win the FA Cup. Coming into the FA Cup Fifth Round, 13 of the 20 Premier League teams have been eliminated and half of the Big Six clubs are gone too. Most of the teams left in the competition at this point are from outside the Premier League, and another Big Six heavyweight will go down after Chelsea and Manchester United square off on Monday. If some more teams from outside the Premier League can pull off upsets this week, we could have a spicy quarterfinals.   More

    FA Cup Fourth Round Preview

By Jonathan Willis There are just 32 teams left in the FA Cup, and this weekend might show us some of the magic that has been missing from the competition over the last few years. A whopping seven Premier League squads were one and done in the tournament, with league leaders Liverpool being the biggest club bounced. That means 19 of the 32 teams left are second-tier teams or lower, and we will see a healthy representation of non-EPL teams in the Round of 16 in a few weeks.   More

    English FA Cup Quarterfinals Preview

By Jonathan Willis This weekend, all eyes in England turn to the FA Cup. For giants like Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester United, this is now serious business. All three clubs are now out of the Champions League and have virtually no chance of catching Manchester City for the Premier League title.
