It has been a sluggish month of August for the LA Galaxy as they have failed to post a win and have lost ground in the Western Conference standings. What is most disappointing about this month is the fact that the LA Galaxy was playing so well in the two months before that.
Meanwhile LAFC has begun to recover from their own struggles from a couple of weeks ago. Their latest two game winning streak followed an ugly stretch of three losses and two draws. However, the good news for LAFC is that they are tied for second in the Western Conference with Sporting Kansas City.
