  • Betcris.com The Premier League will be decided this Sunday. It’s the first time in five years that the Premier League champion will be determined on the final day of the regular season, and that has typically been a good thing for Manchester City. The Citizens have won two of their three Premier League titles on the final day of the regular season, and City are heavy favorites to win the title this season as well after winning every league match since the end of January. Liverpool have been one point behind City for the last two months, but City have not faltered and they will win consecutive league titles with a victory over Brighton on Sunday.   More

  • Betcris.com This is it for Cardiff City. The Bluebirds are facing must-win situations in each of the next two weeks if they are going to stay in the Premier League. Cardiff City currently find themselves four points behind Brighton and Hove Albion with two games remaining, and they have to win those games and hope that Brighton don’t win a game or pick up two draws. Cardiff can’t finish with the same amount of points as Brighton because of their awful goal differential, so they need to get three points at home against Crystal Palace on Saturday.   More

  • Betcris.com It’s looking more and more likely that Manchester United are set to make a return to the Europa League. The Red Devils are in sixth place in the standings, and only the top four Premier League teams are guaranteed a spot in the Champions League next year. Manchester United are sitting on 65 points, and they are trailing Tottenham by 5, Chelsea by 3, and Arsenal by 1 point with two matches left to play. United need to win their last two matches and hope that two of the other teams stumble, but the only thing in their control this weekend is to beat Huddersfield Town.   More

  • Betcris.com Liverpool is back. The storied club has had a lot of ups and downs since the dawn of the Premier League era, but they are once again one of the top teams in England. Despite their quality, Liverpool might not win a trophy this year though. The Reds lost the first leg of their Champions League semifinals clash with Barcelona 3-0, and they are one point behind Manchester City for the Premier League lead. With just two matches left in the season, Liverpool must do what they can and hope for the best, so they have to keep the pressure on City with a win over Newcastle United.   More

  • Betcris.com Tottenham Hotspur are looking to finish off one of their best seasons in recent history in style. Spurs are unlikely to win a trophy, but they have the inside track on third place in the Premier League, and they are vying for a spot in the Champions League Final at the end of the month. A win this Saturday over AFC Bournemouth will ensure that they are part of next year’s Champions League. They will be looking to lock that up prior to the season finale.   More

  • Betcris.com Just three more Premier League matches separate Manchester City from an unprecedented domestic treble. The Citizens already have one title in the bag, and they will play Watford in the FA Cup Final on May 18. To put themselves in position to win the triple though, they first have to take care of business the next two weekends. City are just one point ahead of Liverpool in the tightest Premier League race in recent memory, so they have to win their final two league matches. They face a team that topped them earlier in the season in Leicester City this Monday.   More

    Manchester United vs Chelsea FC

    By Jonathan Willis

Betcris.com We will see the last match between Big Six clubs in England this Sunday as Manchester United hosts Chelsea. The stakes are enormous as Champions League berths for next year are on the line, and United will be all but eliminated from contention with anything other than a win. Tottenham likely have one of the remaining bids locked up with 70 points, while Chelsea have 67 points, Arsenal have 66 points, and Manchester United have 64 points. There are three matches to play, and United must win in order to potentially move ahead of both Arsenal and Chelsea.   More

  • Betcris.com Manchester City can no longer chase Champions League glory, but City can make history in another way. The Citizens have a great chance to be the first English team to ever win a domestic treble by winning the League Cup, the FA Cup, and the Premier League in the same season. They have already clinched the League Cup, and they will face Watford for the FA Cup on May 18. As for the Premier League title, they are one point ahead of Liverpool with three games to play, and City will face Burnley in league action on Sunday.   More

Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United

    By Jonathan Willis

Betcris.com It’s been a fantastic April for Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs were finally able to open their new stadium at the start of the month after numerous delays in replacing White Hart Lane. They broke in the stadium with a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, and then they pulled off a stunner over the next two weeks. Spurs were a sizable underdog in their Champions League tilt with Manchester City, but they rolled a 1-0 home win in the first leg into advancing to the semifinals due to the away goals rule. Tottenham want to keep that going with a win over West Ham United this Saturday.   More

  • Betcris.com This could end up being one of the great years in Liverpool history, or it could be another year that they were oh so close. The Reds have a decent chance at winning a coveted Champions League and Premier League double, but they have to outlast another heavyweight in both competitions. Liverpool must get past Barcelona in the Champions League semifinals to be favored in the final against either Ajax or Tottenham Hotspur, and they need Manchester City to drop points to move back ahead in the Premier League race. They must take care of business in their own right domestically, and that means beating Huddersfield Town handily on Friday.   More

  • Betcris.com The last Manchester Derby of the season is a make or break game for both Manchester City and Manchester United. We’re in the final month of the Premier League campaign, and there is a ton on the line for both teams entering this game. Manchester City are out to win their second straight Premier League title, and this is their last big test remaining with their final games coming against Burnley, Leicester City, and Brighton. As for Manchester United, if there is any hope of them returning to the Premier League, the Red Devils must find a way to get a win here.   More

  • Betcris.com For Liverpool to win their first Premier League title, they know they must win the rest of their matches. They are currently ahead of Manchester City in the standings, but the Citizens have played one less game, and if they win out, they will repeat as champions. Liverpool must win their last four matches and cross their fingers that City slips up somewhere along the way. The Reds are heavy favorites against the Bluebirds of Cardiff City this week, and they can’t trip up.   More

  • Betcris.com Manchester United were unable to summon the same magic that helped them stun Paris Saint-Germain when they faced Barcelona on Tuesday. Lionel Messi netted twice in quick succession, and the Blaugrana sent the Red Devils out of the Champions League. The goal for Manchester United is to make it back to Europe’s top competition, but they are in a tough spot. They are in sixth place in the Premier League with five matches left, and they need to catch at least two teams out of Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and Arsenal. A win against Everton this weekend is crucial to those hopes.   More

  • Betcris.com Bottom of the table teams will meet on Saturday and look to ensure their survival. Southampton FC and Newcastle United are both in good shape, and a win for either team would all but guarantee they are in the Premier League next year. The Magpies have 38 points in 34 games and are in 15th place, while the Saints have 36 points in 33 matches and are in 16th. Southampton are five points ahead of the drop, and a win here would likely put them out of the reach of Cardiff City.   More

  • Betcris.com Chelsea are out to grab one of the last two Champions League spots next year. They have been toiling in the Europa League this season, and they want to avoid Thursday games in Eastern Europe next year. A repeat trip is looking more and more likely though since Chelsea might find it hard to catch Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. They are one point behind Spurs and level with Arsenal, and they have played one less match than those two clubs. Chelsea can’t afford to drop points, so they are out to grab a win against Burnley.   More

  • Betcris.com The next week will go a long way to determining whether or not Manchester City can actually win the quadruple they have been chasing. City have one of the four trophies in the bag, and their fate in the Champions League and Premier League will largely be determined this week. They are facing Tottenham Hotspur and rivals Manchester United in Premier League action, and they must beat Spurs in the Champions League on Wednesday to advance to the semifinals. This will test their mettle.   More

    Premier League Watford vs Arsenal

    By Jonathan Willis

Betcris.com Arsenal are now favorites to finish in the top four and re-join the Champions League next year. Even though the Gunners are fifth in the table, they are three points behind Chelsea and have both a Premier League game in hand and are ahead on point differential. They are just one point behind Tottenham Hotspur too, and most importantly, they have no games left against Big Six clubs. That’s huge considering the gap between the top six and the rest of the league, but Arsenal must make sure to get the results they need going forward. Watford have proven to be a game opponent this season, and the Hornets will be ready.   More

  • Betcris.com The stakes are incredibly high when Liverpool host Chelsea this Sunday. The Reds are playing for their first Premier League title. They have been dueling Manchester City all season long, and while they are currently ahead in the standings, they have played one more match and the Citizens have the edge if points were maximized. Meanwhile, Chelsea are playing for a spot in the Champions League after dropping down to Europa League last year. The Blues are in the middle of a four-team race for two spots, and like Liverpool, they would be on the outside looking in if points were maximized the rest of the way even though they sit in third place.   More

  • Betcris.com A disappointing loss to Tottenham in the first leg of the Champions Leg Quarterfinals has left a bitter taste in the mouth of Manchester City. The Citizens now must avoid a letdown, lookahead scenario when they face Crystal Palace this Sunday. Palace have already gotten the better of City once this season, as the Eagles were the only team to beat the Citizens in the Etihad. Anything but a win would be a massive disappointment and open the door for Liverpool to pass them in the Premier League standings once more.   More

  • Betcris.com A fourth place finish would be welcome for Manchester United after such a difficult start to the season. The Red Devils were in fourth for a brief time after a furious climb up the table following the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but they have since slid back. They have lost three of their last four, and while none of the losses were bad on the surface, they still have Manchester United back in sixth. They are out to move back up the table against West Ham United this weekend.   More

  • Betcris.com For the second time this season, Tottenham Hotspur will be without their best player for a stretch of time. Just a few months ago, Harry Kane missed a few weeks due to an injury, and he looks set to miss even more time after coming off injured against Manchester City in Champions League action on Tuesday. There is no indication on how much time Kane will miss with the ankle injury, but there has been speculation that he could be out the rest of the year. He will certainly miss this weekend’s Premier League match, but fortunately for Spurs, they are playing Huddersfield Town.   More

  • Betcris.com Maurizio Sarri may be one and done at Chelsea. The former Napoli manager came to Premier League Stamford Bridge to bring life to the Blues’ offense after defensive-minded Antonio Conte was sacked. Eden Hazard has looked as sharp as ever under Sarri, but there has been no solid second option and with the defense struggling, Chelsea are down to fifth place in the table. Not making it to the Champions League will spell the end of the Sarri era, and Chelsea need a win over West Ham to gain ground on Arsenal and Tottenham. The Blues travel to take on Liverpool and Manchester United later in the campaign, and they need all the points they can grab.   More

    Everton vs Arsenal Betting Odds

    By Jonathan Willis

Betcris.com A win over Everton on Sunday would move Arsenal into third place in the Premier League and send Gunners fans the world over into jubilation. Whereas the team used to joke about a fourth-place trophy, after two seasons of missing out on the Champions League, a top four finish was the goal for Unai Emery in his first year and third place would be just fine given the strength of England’s clubs this season. Arsenal currently have 63 points, while Tottenham Hotspur have 64, Chelsea have 63, and Manchester United have 61. All those clubs have played one less match than Arsenal.   More

  • Betcris.com We are nearing the end of the Premier League season, and there is still a lot up for grabs. Even in the middle of the table, games are important as teams look to carry momentum into next season. There is a financial incentive to finish strong too, as there is a roughly $2 million difference between each spot in the table. That can be huge for teams looking to shore up depth or add a quality transfer in the offseason, so that makes this weekend’s games important even though Saturday’s three tilts feature teams ninth or lower in the Premier League.   More

  • Betcris.com Liverpool fans have ample reason to believe that they are a team of destiny. The Reds have continually managed to find weird ways to win Premier League games just before the final whistle blows, and Sunday was no exception. Liverpool were ahead of Tottenham for much of the match, but a Lucas Moura goal off of a quick restart leveled the score. The match looked set to end in a draw, but then a Mo Salah header led to Hugo Lloris batting the ball directly into Toby Alderweireld’s feet, and an own goal in the 90th minute proved to be decisive. Now, Liverpool are hoping for an easier time against Southampton.   More
