  • Betcris.com It’s been a record-breaking season for Manchester City. The Citizens set the Premier League record for most consecutive wins earlier this year and tacked on some more achievements last week. They have now won 31 games, more than any other team in Premier League history, and Manchester City’s 97 points are the most any team has ever recorded as well.   More

  • Betcris.com Liverpool and Chelsea both waived goodbye to competing in the Premier League long ago. Manchester City were simply too good and ran away with the league, but each club is still in the running for silverware this season.   More

  • Betcris.com You might think that there is nothing left to play for in the Premier League at this point. Manchester City has already won the league and it appears that both the Champions League spots and the relegation battle has been decided.   More

  • Betcris.com Most of the attention in England this week is on the FA Cup, but there are still some pretty interesting match-ups in the Premier League. While the league has already been decided, the four Champions League spots mostly set, and the teams being relegated largely determined, some teams would love specific finishes.   More

  • Betcris.comAfter failing to do so last week, Manchester City is hopeful it can clinch the Premier League this week against Tottenham Hotspur. The Citizens were unable to finish their dream scenario. City was up 2-0 at home on Manchester United at halftime, and a win would have secured the title. However, they allowed three goals in the second half and kept Manchester United still alive mathematically speaking.  More

  • Betcris.comThe race for the other three Champions League spots is on. Manchester City has essentially won the Premier League already with a 16-point lead with nine games to play, but four teams are fighting for places two through four.  More

    English Premier League Preview

    By Jonathan Willis

Betcris.com Over the next few days, Manchester City can put a bow on its Premier League campaign with some good results against Arsenal and Chelsea. Manchester City is already 13 points clear of Manchester United with 10 games left to play, and picking up wins in both of those games would shut the door on any possible comeback. However, if City were to lose both of those games, there would be at least a glimmer of hope for teams like Manchester United or Liverpool to storm back and challenge for the crown by the end of the year.   More

    Premier League Preview

    By Anonymous

Betcris.comThe race for the four Champions League spots is essentially down to five teams at this point. Manchester City has one of them, and the league, pretty much in hand at this point, but there are four other clubs looking to snag one of the other three spots. Things are pretty tight as four points separate second-place Manchester United from fifth-place Tottenham, with Chelsea and Liverpool in between the two.  More

    English Premier League Preview

    By Anonymous

Betcris.comWe’re two-thirds of the way through the Premier League season at this point. Although it doesn’t look like anyone is going to catch up to Manchester City at the top of the table, there is still plenty to play for. The top four teams will make it to the prestigious, and lucrative, Champions League, while the next two will have to grit through Europa League action. With that in mind, let’s take a look at some of this week’s matches.  More

  • Betcris.comIt is a busy week in the Premier League with three games on Tuesday, January 30, seven on Wednesday, January 31, seven on Saturday, February 3, two on Sunday, February 4 and one on Monday, February 5. Tottenham is in the spotlight, as Manchester United is at Tottenham on Wednesday on NBCSN, while Tottenham visits Liverpool on Sunday on NBCSN. United is in second place in the Premier League with 53 points, while Tottenham has 45 points, good for fifth. Liverpool is in fourth place with 47 points. The relegation spotlight this week features Southampton at West Bromwich Albion and Watford at Stoke City.  More

  • Betcris.comChelsea has moved back into third place in the Premier League after a 4-0 win at Brighton this past week. Chelsea still trails first place Manchester City, but Chelsea is now a serious threat to Manchester United for second place. It is hard to see any team doing enough to challenge Manchester City, but the race for a Champions League spot could be entertaining in the last few months of the season. There is also a major race at the bottom of the table, as 11 teams are separated by just nine points.  More

  • Betcris.comWe're at the point that it doesn't even pay to discuss the top of the English Premier League any longer, save for Manchester City's march on history. The Citizens have won 17 straight matches, and it's hard to pick out the fixture that they won't win for the rest of the season. Surely, Manchester City will take a step backwards at some point, but it's at the halfway point of the campaign at 18-1-0 with a +48 goal differential.  More

  • Betcris.comThe English Premier League season is only a quarter of the way through, but it's already clear that the team to beat is going to be Manchester City.  More

  • Betcris.comThere are only so many teams who truly care about the EPL Cup, especially in its early stages as we're in at this point. Clearly, we're not talking about the big boys when we're talking about match weariness and fitness problems, but this weekend could be one where the top teams shine as the little guys give it their best shot to keep advancing in the one cup they actually have a shot to win.  More

  • Betcris.comWe'll spare the drama for Arsenal fans right now. Arsene Wenger is toast, and your team is going to be lucky to finish in the top half of the table in the Premier League this year.  More

  • Betcris.comWe're only two match days into the 2017-18 Premier League season, and it's already becoming clear that the title chase is going to run clear through Manchester.  More

  • Betcris.comOne match out of 38 in the English Premier League doesn't tell the whole tale of the season that is to come. That said, it's clear there are a few teams that are in a lot better shape now than they were a term ago.  More

  • Betcris.comArsenal kicked off the 2017-18 season in style with a win in the Community Shield against Chelsea. That said, neither the FA Cup winner nor the defending champion of the Premier League are the favorites to win it all this year. Manchester City might be coming off of a disappointing third place finish in the EPL last season, but Pep Guardiola's clubs don't stay down for long, and this year figures to be a rebound at the Etihad.  More

  • Betcris.comThe 2016-17 English Premier League season is only just in the books, but it's never too early to start looking ahead to next season.  More
