  • Call it the Richarlison Derby. One of the best young talents in the Premier League will be the centerpiece of the discussion coming into this Monday Night Football clash. Richarlison broke into the Premier League with Watford last year, after the Hornets shelled out £11.2 million to bring him to England. After just one year with the club, Everton was convinced of his potential to the point that the Toffees spent £35 million to acquire him from their league rival, and the deal may reach £50 million if certain incentives are met. Thus far, he has been worth every penny, and he is leading Everton with seven goals on the year. He will be out to lead his current team to a win over his former club.   More

  • After a disastrous start to the season, Newcastle United have turned things around. The Magpies were in the relegation zone for the first two months of the campaign with just two points from nine games, but they pulled themselves out after picking up results in five of their last six matches. This Sunday, they will be out to keep it rolling when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers. Wolves are in 12th place, but they are in the crowded middle of the table and sit just four points behind 6th place Everton.   More

  • It’s been a good last month for Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs are currently in third place in the Premier League table, and their once-dead hopes of making it to the Round of 16 in the Champions League have been revitalized. They are two points ahead of both Chelsea and Arsenal, and they are out to   More

  • Records are meant for breaking. That seems to be the motto of Manchester City this season. City have been incredible this campaign, picking up right where they left off last season. They became the first team to finish with 100 points and topped 100 goals as well, and they are on pace to break both of those records this year. The Citizens are on pace to collect 104 points and finish with 114 goals, turning the Premier League on its head in the process. Chelsea are out to play spoiler in this match, but the Blues know just how tall of a task that stands to be.   More

  • Claudio Ranieri has been tasked with piloting Fulham to safety after a disastrous start to the season for the Cottagers. Fulham have languished at the bottom of the table for most of the year, and they are dead last with just eight points through 14 matches. Given the club shelled out nearly 100 million pounds on players this offseason, many gave them a chance at qualifying for Europe and most thought that they would be safe from relegation despite moving back up from Championship. Ranieri will be out to make sure Fulham survives, but they are heavy underdogs on the road against Manchester United this week.   More

  • Coming into the season, Liverpool knew that knocking off Manchester City to win the Premier League title was going to be difficult. The Citizens only got stronger in the offseason, and they had just posted the best record in Premier League history. However, the Reds have done a decent job keeping pace so far.   More

  • If Manchester United want to keep playing in the Champions League next season, they need to turn it on quickly. The Red Devils currently find themselves eight points behind Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the table, and they need to start pulling the full three points out of matches if they are to catch either club. A gap has opened between the top five and everyone else in England, and if it isn’t narrowed soon, Manchester United will only be competing for a spot in the Europa League over the second half of the season. That makes Wednesday’s match against Arsenal incredibly important.   More

  • The Merseyside Derby caps off a derby day tripleheader highlighting most of the top teams in the Premier League. Everton are currently sitting in sixth place following a strong showing over the last two months. They have slowly risen in the standings, and they are now looking to cut the five-point gap between themselves and Arsenal. Meanwhile, Liverpool are in second place, two points off the pace of Manchester City. The Reds know they need to get all three points in order to keep up if they want to potentially overtake the Citizens.   More

  • We are nearing the 200th edition of the North London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. This is one of the oldest rivalries in England as these two clubs have clashed often over the last 110 years and Arsenal have mostly had the upper hand. They have won 18 more matches than Tottenham over the course of the rivalry, in addition to all the extra titles they have won over that time. However, it’s been Spurs that have largely come out on top recently. The Gunners have won just one of the last eight meetings between these two sides, and the oddsmakers have them as just a slight favorite per the EPL betting odds ahead of this one.   More

    Premier League Chelsea vs Fulham

By Jonathan Willis The oddsmakers are calling for plenty of goals to be scored when Chelsea hosts Fulham in a West London derby this Sunday. Fulham have allowed more goals 33than any other team in the Premier League by a wide margin. The Cottagers have also had more average goals per game than any other team in the   More

  • On Tuesday, Manchester United were able to win a spot in the Champions League Round of 16, and both the fans and the board were rewarded for their continued faith in Jose Mourinho. It was hairy for a while though. The Red Devils got off to a terrible start this season, and it looked like they would crash out in the Champions League Group Stage and not fare so well in the Premier League. However, they have performed much better over the last two months and won a spot in the knockout rounds of the European competition with a 1-0 extra time win over Young Boys. The giant club will now set its sights on the Southampton Saints this Saturday.   More

  • What more can I write about Manchester City at this point? The Citizens look like the best team in England once again, and they are starting to pull away from the rest of the Premier League. They are 11-2-0 with a goal differential of +35, and it looks like there is only one team with a realistic chance of   More

    Burnley vs Newcastle United

By Jonathan Willis Newcastle United have turned things around somewhat after a dismal start to the year. The Magpies were seen as a team that could make some noise after a busy Premier League summer signing period, but they fell flat on their face out of the gate. They were stuck in the relegation zone for most of this   More

  • It’s been an incredible ride for AFC Bournemouth over the last decade. The Cherries rose from the fourth-tier of English soccer to making their first appearance in the Premier League in the span of just six years, and this is their fourth straight year in the top flight of English football. Bournemouth are almost assuredly guaranteed a fifth consecutive year in the Premier League, but the Cherries are out for more after such a strong start to their campaign. They are currently in sixth place in the Premier League, and they would love to qualify for European play at the end of the year. The Cherries will host Arsenal, another team jockeying for positioning, this Saturday at Dean Court.   More

  • Is this the year it all comes crashing down for Huddersfield Town? The Terriers have been one of the favorites to be relegated in each of the last two seasons, and they are not in a great spot this Premier League season. They are currently sitting in 19th place, and they are just two points up   More

  • The oddsmakers aren’t big fans of Tottenham Hotspur ahead of this week’s London Derby with Chelsea. Spurs are playing at home and they are just one point behind the Blues in the Premier League standings. However, Chelsea are slight favorites per the EPL betting odds. They have a healthier squad available for selection ahead of this match between teams currently in the top four, and they have had better results against the better teams in the Premier League.   More

  • The odds on Manchester City to win the Premier League have slowly risen throughout the course of the year. The Citizens were initially a -150 favorite per the EPL betting odds to repeat as champions, but that number has widened as they have scratched out a small lead in the league and have been   More

  • The Manchester Derby has largely belonged to Manchester United over the course of its history. However, Manchester City’s ascension up the ranks in the Premier League has meant they have gotten the better of things recently. Manchester City are 8-2-4 against Manchester United since the 2011-12 season, and they have won three league titles this decade compared to two for their crosstown rivals. United did get the better of City in their last meeting, but City had nothing but history to play for after cruising to the title last year. The Citizens are much bigger favorites on the soccer betting line this time with everything to play for.   More

  • Roman Abramovich is notorious for being fickle with his managers, but more often than not his moves have worked out great. This offseason, he held Antonio Conte’s status in limbo until after the World Cup was over, and then he decided to appoint Napoli’s Maurizio Sarri as the new man in charge. The decision to make Sarri the manager at Chelsea only a month before the season started was met with criticism, but the Blues are sitting in second so it’s hard to argue with the results. They will look to keep moving in the right direction against Everton this weekend.   More

  • Liverpool look like they have the best chance of stopping Manchester City from repeating as Premier League champions. The Reds have gotten off to a solid start this year, and they were dead level with City through 10 games. However, a draw at Arsenal in their last match means Liverpool are now two points off the pace, so they need to keep from falling further behind. That means taking care of business against bottom of the table Fulham.   More

Premier League Cardiff City vs Brighton

By Jonathan Willis The motto for Cardiff City is simple this season. Survive. Unlike the other two clubs making the jump from Championship to the Premier League, Cardiff City did not get a big infusion of cash in an effort to stay up right before the new television contract kicked in. Instead, Vincent Tan seems to have faith   More

  • Tottenham Hotspur are entering a pivotal time of the year. Spurs are sitting in fourth place in the Premier League, and they are a lone point ahead of Arsenal. They are also competing in the Champions League where they currently sit in third place and are three points behind Inter Milan with just two   More

  • For the first time all season, Manchester City are looking to take sole possession of first place in the Premier League this weekend. The Citizens have run level with Liverpool through the first ten games of the campaign. Both clubs are 8-2-0, but Manchester City has all the little advantages   More

  • The last clash of the 11th matchday of the Premier League campaign will feature two teams at the bottom of the table looking for a way out of the relegation zone. Fulham are currently in 18th place with five points, and they are tied for the worst goal differential in the league. The Cottagers weren’t supposed to be this low with the money they spent this offseason, but they find themselves in a tough spot. They are travelling to face bottom of the table Huddersfield Town this Monday, the team they are tied with in terms of goal differential. The Terriers avoided relegation despite being the odds-on favorite to drop last year, but they have a steep climb ahead of them to stay up for a second straight year.   More

  • Manchester United are no longer taking on water, but they have a long way to go before you can say Jose Mourinho has righted the ship. The Red Devils are sitting in eighth place with 17 points through 10 games, and they are still well off the pace for a spot in the Champions League next season.   More
