The Premier League season is upon us and everyone is itching to bet on the Premier League. Although Liverpool and Manchester City are the overwhelming favorites to win the league, all 20 teams are optimistic about their chances and hoping to claim the silverware at the end of the season. Every team will be in action on opening weekend and it all starts with Liverpool and Norwich City meeting in Anfield on Friday evening.

Liverpool -2 and -2.5 vs. Norwich City, O/U 3 and 3.5
After finishing the season with 97 points and failing to win the Premier League, Liverpool are desperate to finally win a league title. The Champions League winners are loaded with talent, as two of last year’s top three scorers are the stars up front, and Virgil van Dijk leads the way in the back.
This should be a high-scoring game. Norwich played an open style en route to winning Championship last season, and indications are they intend to use that same style in the Premier League.
West Ham United +1.5 and +2 vs. Manchester City, O/U 3 and 3.5
The Hammers will be one of the most interesting teams to watch early on. West Ham have typically gotten off to slow starts, but they made some big moves in the transfer market and are hoping to avoid a similar fate. Sebastien Haller and Pablo Fornals will make their debut for the hosts and they are hoping to keep it close against the back-to-back champions.
Leicester City PK and -0.5 vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers, O/U 2 and 2.5
These two teams will be two of the best clubs outside of the Big Six this season. Even though Harry Maguire is no longer with the Foxes, Leicester City went on the offensive to grab Ayoze Perez and Youri Tielemans. Those moves will make this more of a forward thinking club in 2019-20.
Wolverhampton are one of the best counter-attacking clubs you will find. That led to their incredible record against Big Six clubs last year, and Wolves stand to be even better this campaign.
AFC Bournemouth -0.5 vs. Sheffield United, O/U 2.5
Injuries ruined a promising start for the Cherries last season. The hope is that those players stay healthy and haven’t lost much form, and they will get the benefit of playing the team that most expect to drop in the first weekend.
Crystal Palace PK +106 vs. Everton FC, O/U 2 and 2.5
Adding Moise Kean from Juventus this summer was a huge get for Everton. The Toffees beat out larger clubs for his services, and Kean will finally have plenty of on-field time now that he is at Goodison Park. This line could shift significantly if Wilfried Zaha is acquired from Palace by another club before the Soccer season starts.
Watford FC -0.5 vs. Brighton & Hove Albion FC, O/U 2 and 2.5
The Seagulls are one of my picks to drop at the end of the season. Brighton just don’t have any real offensive weapons and last year’s top goal scorer Glenn Murray will be 36 next month. Expect a low scoring game here and in many of Brighton’s matches this season.
Burnley FC PK -123 vs. Southampton FC, O/U 2 and 2.5
Following their opener, the Clarets will square off against Arsenal, Wolverhampton, and Liverpool, so a win here is very much needed. Burnley weren’t active this summer, but the hope is that not having to deal with Europa League qualifying won’t leave them drained like it did last season.
Tottenham Hotspur -1.5 vs. Aston Villa, O/U 2.5 and 3
Spurs fans are elated coming into this season. The club made a big splash with the signing of Tanguy Ndombele and their new stadium will help them compete more with established powerhouses. They should run roughshod over newly promoted Aston Villa in the opener, but the Villans have a lot of talent after doling out more than 150 million pounds in transfer fees.
Newcastle United +0.5 and +1 vs. Arsenal FC, O/U 2.5 and 3
With matches against Arsenal, Tottenham, and Liverpool in the first month of the season, the Magpies are out to get every point they can grab. There has been a lot of consternation at St. James’ Park after a tumultuous offseason and a big loss on opening weekend could lead to some early unrest.
Manchester United PK and -0.5 vs. Chelsea FC, O/U 2.5
Neither one of these traditional powers are at their peak. Chelsea are not allowed to sign any new players due to their transfer ban so Eden Hazard left, and United fans are crossing their fingers that Paul Pogba does not follow Hazard to the Bernabeu. This match stands to be a very physical one as these sides have some animosity.
