It’s Juventus’ title to lose. Juventus are heavy favorites per the Serie A futures odds to win their eighth straight league championship this year. They continue to set the bar higher and higher, and they are currently eight points ahead of second-place Napoli more than a third of the way through
the season. This Friday, Juventus will take on Inter Milan in a clash of two of the three most decorated clubs in Italian football.

Inter Milan are sitting in third place in the Serie A table. They are three points behind Napoli in the race for second, and their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season are looking good as they are four points up on city rivals AC Milan for the fourth spot in the league. Over the weekend, Inter Milan went on the road and played a 2-2 draw with AS Roma, and now they must face Juventus away from home too. This is a very important week for Inter. After this game, they face PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday and must defeat PSV while hoping that Tottenham can’t get a win over Barcelona.
Juventus have won 13 of 14 matches in league play this season. Their only non-win was a draw against Genoa in mid-October, and they are running away with the league. The Old Lady were expected to dominate this year given their incredible run of domestic success and offseason additions, and they have done just that. Juventus have won their last four league matches by at least two goals apiece.
The visitors will be without the services of Dalbert Henrique for this match. He has been dealing with a calf issue, and he will likely sit a few more games in an attempt to recover from the injury. Sime Vrsaljko is considered questionable to play due to multiple injuries he has suffered in recent weeks, and Radja Nainggolan is a game-time decision after coming off the field with an ankle injury against Tottenham. Sami Khedira is unlikely to play for Juventus. Khedira suffered a sprained ankle about two weeks ago, and he has been rehabbing it in an attempt to recover. Alex Sandro is questionable to play because of a hip flexor injury, while Emre Can is listed as probable after being out for the last month. His return would put some steel back in the defensive midfield, but the team has so much talent, it hasn’t missed him too much.
Juventus Player to Watch
Cristiano Ronaldo has been the story for Juventus, just like he has been wherever he has played over the course of his career. Ronaldo needed some time to get going in Italy, but he is now tied for the league lead in goals. He has 10 goals in his last 11 matches, and he has not been afraid to fire away on net in search of more. Ronaldo has taken five or more shots in each of this last eight matches.

Inter Milan Player to Watch
On a night of pomp and circumstance, Mauro Icardi was named Serie A Player of the Year on Monday. Icardi fired home 29 goals for Inter last season, and he became the first non-Juventus player to win the award since 2011. He is off to a good start this year, with eight goals in 11 matches, and he has played off of Keita Balde Diao well.
Juventus vs. Inter Milan Free Picks
Inter are the best defensive team in Serie A, but Juventus are too talented to not get the full three points from this match at home. This will be close, and I expect the Old Lady to pull through at the end.
Juventus vs. Inter Milan Prediction: Juventus 2, Inter Milan 1
