The last eight of the Champions League is set. There isn't a team that can't ultimately figure out how to win the whole enchilada from here, and a dream of a team as small as Leicester City could end up being big enough to play with the big boys. And with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich facing off with one another, that's going to take one of the big boys out of this fold going into the last four. And thus, the draw shook up the odds to win the Champions League as much as the results in the last 16 itself.

Champions League Odds at BETCRIS

Barcelona +240

Bayern Munich +300

Real Madrid +500

Atletico Madrid +550

Borussia Dortmund +800

Juventus +1000

AS Monaco +1600

Leicester City +3300

Not surprisingly, Leicester City has the longest odds on the board to win the Champions League at 33 to 1. That said, Leicester doesn't have the toughest draw in the world in the quarterfinals with Atletico Madrid, but at the same token, this is part of the reason why the fourth place side in Spain is now the fourth favorite to win the UCL at +550. Atletico Madrid plays a style of soccer that really works for Cup play, and that's why this team has consistently made deep runs in this tournament. This shouldn't be an exception, as the Atleti are set at -450 to reach the semifinals.

Ironically, the team that is the favorite to win the Champions League now is the one that had the biggest odds stacked again it coming into the last 90 minutes of the Round of 16. Barcelona was once 40 to 1 to win this tournament when it was behind by four goals to none against PSG, and that price would have been probably closer to 40,000 to 1 when the team was down 5-3 on aggregate heading into the last few minutes needing three goals to see of the Parisians. But soccer is a funny game, and three strikes later, and Barca finished off the greatest comeback in the history of the UCL, if not the greatest comeback in the history of soccer. Now, Barcelona has gone from a +300 favorite to a +4000 longshot to a +240 favorite once again, and the draw is relatively favorable against Juventus, particularly drawing the second match at home at the Nou Camp.

Part of what makes the UCL so great is the randomness of the draw. Not only are we guaranteed to get either Atletico Madrid or Leicester City in the semis, we're also going to get either Borussia Dortmund or AS Monaco there as well. Monaco, of course, was a part of an epic comeback in the UCL in its title run in 2004 when it came back from down 4-2 against Real Madrid at this stage before ultimately dispatching Porto in the finale. Now, the French side is back with its best shot in the Champions League since that point. Monaco is a +140 dog against BVB, but both of these teams would have been massive dogs against the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich but were fortunate enough to draw each other.

But of course, that random nature is what pitted Los Blancos and the Reds against each other. Either the German or Spanish giants will be finished with UCL play in April, a fate that neither one will be accepting of. The winner could possibly have to go through the other as well as Barcelona just to reach the Champions League Final, and that's why these teams are now firmly the second and third favorites to Barca with Bayern Munich at +300 and Real Madrid at +500.
