The Streak Challenge - FAQ

How it works?

  • Each day, registered entrants may select the team who they believe will be the winner in only one of a series of games listed. Limit one selection per person per day.

  • You may select teams from the games listed on our Today's Picks contest page only. If your selection is a winner, you will receive one point towards your streak total. If your selection is a loser, your score will be reset to zero. If the game results in a tie, your score will not change. If a game that you have made a selection in is postponed, suspended, cancelled or removed from the board for any reason, your selection will not be counted and you will be able to make a new selection for a game played on a future date.

  • You must make a selection on a game played within 3 days of your previous selection or your score will be reset to zero.

  • Over/Under picks for MLB are graded as a push for games that do not complete 9 innings played (or 8.5 if home team wins). Your streak will continue at the same level prior to this selection.

  • Each eligible registrant to receive a score of 21 (21 consecutive correct selections) will receive $25,000 cash. Additional prizes will be awarded for streaks of 17 consecutive correct selections, 13 consecutive correct selections, 9 consecutive correct selections, and 5 consecutive correct selections.

How to register?

Limit (1) username per person/email address. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the email address. The "authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

The user who signs up the user name is the only person eligible to win a prize, even if other persons log-in under the user name and make picks.

How to claim prizes?

  • You are limited to one username when playing BETCRIS Streak Challenge. If a person is entering picks using more than one username, that person is deemed not eligible to win any prizes.

  • You must verify that you are at least 18 years old to be eligible for any prize.

  • Prizes will be awarded automatically after winning a streak.

  • Prizes might take up to 24 hours to be credited.

Can I make more than one pick at a time?

No. The game is designed so you can only make one pick per day. Note that once you have a matchup picked you can NOT change it even if the match up has not started yet. All picks are final.

If my pick ends in a PUSH is my streak reset back to 0?

No! Any matchup that goes final with a PUSH result is scored as if the event didn't happen.

How many matchups will be on the board each day?

It depends on the day’s sporting schedule. There is no fixed limit to how many or how few each day.

Can a matchup be pulled off the board after I've picked it?

Yes, matchups can be removed from the board at anytime. There are a number of different circumstances which can lead this happening. The most common are weather delays. In most cases this will not happen after a significant amount of time has taken place, or the outcome is mostly already decided. Matchups can also be pulled off the board if a significant change in the winning probability is determined. An example of this can be player injuries or suspensions which are announced day of the event.

How are matchups scored if a player or players in a listed prop do NOT end up playing?

Any prop that states a player or players must start will be cancelled and pushed for all pickers if one or more of the players doesn't start. (i.e. Which QB will record MORE PASSING YARDS in the FIRST HALF? (Both Must Start). If one or both of the QBs do NOT start the game, the prop will scored as a PUSH). If a player is scratched from the lineup prior to the game, the prop will be scored as a PUSH.
