Week 12 College Football Betting Odds - Bet On NCAA Games

Week 12 College Football Betting OddsCollege Football Betting: We’re in the homestretch now. Most teams play their last tough conference foe prior to Rivalry Week in Week 12 of the season, so the best teams in the country are trying to avoid stepping on a land mine and blowing up their chances of making it to the College Football Playoff this week. Two games highlight this week. In the first, Auburn and Georgia square off in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry, and in the second, Michigan and Michigan State will add another chapter to a rivalry that has a lot of recent bad blood.

As the best place for betting on Week 12 college football games, Betcris offers the greatest lines and betting odds for this season in college football. Georgia -7.5 vs Auburn

The Bulldogs have won two straight games in this series, including the 2017 SEC Championship Game. Georgia is favored once again, and this spread could be in double digits per the college football betting odds once the game rolls around.

Auburn just doesn’t have the same talent as Georgia, and there’s no guarantee that one of their three freshmen will have proven themselves enough to be a solid quarterback at that point. Joey Gatewood is the best option, but it’s hard to say whether or not he’ll make a big splash as a freshman, and whoever ends up starting is going to have a hard time against a stout Georgia defense.

Meanwhile, Jake Fromm is a reliable quarterback that has come through in big situations. Fromm isn’t going to throw the ball 40 times a game, but he is efficient, and that will likely be the difference here.

Michigan -10 vs Michigan State

This has been an incredibly heated rivalry in recent years. While Michigan has dominated it historically, Michigan State has won 8 of the last 11 in this series and ruined more than a few hopes for the Wolverines in the process.

Interestingly enough, the two sides have alternated winning in each other’s stadiums during the Jim Harbaugh era. Michigan State won the 2015 edition of this game in epic fashion, blocking a punt and returning it for a touchdown to get the victory, and the Spartans gritted out a tough win in Ann Arbor two years ago. A third straight win in Ann Arbor this season would lead to plenty of grumbling as this might be Harbaugh’s best Michigan team yet and Michigan State is reloading.

Mississippi State +20 vs Alabama

Joe Moorhead was not as successful as many thought he would be in his first year at Mississippi State. Although the Bulldogs went 8-5, their success was largely due to having the best defense in the country according to some measures and three members of that defense were first round draft picks this year.

Moorhead is seen as an offensive guru, but he couldn’t get as much out of Nick Fitzgerald as Dan Mullen did in previous seasons. Now, he is hoping that a former player can be the key to figuring it out as Tommy Stevens transferred in as a graduate transfer from Penn State.

Baylor +13.5 vs Oklahoma

Under Matt Rhule, Baylor has completely changed. They used to embody the stereotype of Big 12 football with a supercharged offense and a blasé defense, but now they are running the football and focusing on shutting down opposing offenses.

This will be an interesting test for Oklahoma and new DC Alex Grinch. Unlike most of the rest of the conference, Baylor is not a pass happy team. The Bears want to keep the ball on the ground and play a low-scoring game, so that will be quite the change to deal with for the Sooners.
