Week 2 College Football Betting Odds - Bet On NCAA Games

Week 2 College Football Betting OddsCollege Football Betting: There are some very good non-conference games when it comes to betting on college football in Week 2. Texas A&M and Clemson played one of the best games of 2018 when they squared off in Kyle Field, and the game between Texas and LSU will lead to one fanbase saying its back, while the other fanbase is left shaking its collective head.

As the best place for betting on Week 2 college football games, Betcris offers the greatest lines and betting odds for this season in college football. All clients who sign up for a new account can choose from a variety of bonuses and special promotions to further enjoy the thrill of betting on college football games and Bowls.

Texas +3 vs LSU

As Bill Connelly pointed out in his preview, Tom Herman is a great big-game coach. He is 10-6 SU as an underdog and 13-2-1 ATS when his teams have been underdogs.

This will be a real tough test for the Longhorns though. Even though they are playing in Austin, and Sam Ehlinger is a great dual-threat quarterback, their defense has some major question marks. Only two starters return from last year’s team, and those two players are the safeties.

Texas is replacing its entire front seven, and that’s not good news when you’re playing LSU in the second week of the season. The Tigers have some issues when they are trying to move the ball through the air, but they are more than happy to keep the ball on the ground behind four upperclassmen that are returning starters. LSU can certainly grind out a victory here.

Clemson -15.5 vs Texas A&M

Trevor Lawrence could have a field day in this game. When these teams met in College Station last year, Clemson threw the ball just 27 times but finished just two yards short of cracking 300 through the air. Both Kelly Bryant and Lawrence had success against this secondary, and Lawrence could go wild against a secondary that ranked 12th in the SEC in 2018.

The Aggies had a stout run defense last year, but there are concerns about the front seven in 2019. There is just one starter returning, and there is a lot of inexperience along the defensive line and in the linebacker corps.

Texas A&M should be able to put up some points. Clemson loses its star-studded defensive line, and the Aggies have a solid quarterback in Kellen Mond and an excellent playcaller in Jimbo Fisher. Fisher is a micromanager that is constantly looking to beat you with the perfect play, and he runs one of the slowest offenses in the nation. That will limit the chances that Lawrence and Clemson have to really blow the Aggies out of the water.

Football Sports Betting

USC -3 vs Stanford

The Cardinal have won 8 of the last 12 games in this series, and another win could all but send Clay Helton out of town. Helton is on the hottest seat in college football, and he can’t afford another early season loss to a rival.

This will be a great chance for USC to get a victory in this series. The Trojans have a new offensive coordinator that should provide a spark in Graham Harrell, and JT Daniels showed some real promise as a freshman in 2018.

Stanford has an incredibly difficult start to the season. The Cardinal began their year with Northwestern, USC, UCF, and Oregon, and with that kind of slate there is not a ton of time for extra prep work. USC will have that advantage.

Michigan -17.5 vs Army

Don Brown is one of the best defensive coordinators in the country, and his presence will lessen the loss of playmakers like Devin Bush, Chase Winovich, and Rashan Gary. Army gave Oklahoma fits with their triple option last year, but Brown won’t have near the trouble stopping it. His defenses are disciplined and well-coached, and the Wolverines will have spent time preparing for the triple with a bye week in Week 3 and Middle Tennessee State in the opener.

Army doesn’t have the size up front to stop Michigan’s run game. The Wolverines should be able to pick up decent chunks on the ground, and that will open up the play action game for Shea Patterson.
