Week 4 College Football Betting Odds - Bet On NCAA Games

Week 4 College Football Betting OddsCollege Football Betting: Most schools begin conference play in Week 4 of the college football season, and that familiarity will lead to advantages when betting on college football. Tenured coaches like Mike Gundy knows what it means to play in Austin, and Michigan and Wisconsin have a pretty intense rivalry despite being in opposite sides of the Big Ten. There’s no denying what the marquee game of the week is though from a college football betting perspective: Georgia vs Notre Dame.

Georgia -10.5 vs Notre Dame

There were many that believed Georgia was a better team than Notre Dame last season, but while the Fighting Irish made the College Football Playoff after finishing the regular season unbeaten, the Bulldogs were ranked No. 5 in the final poll from the Selection Committee.

Notre Dame’s offense improved considerably after Ian Book took over for Brandon Wimbush last season. Book proved to be just the right tonic for Irish ills, and he will have plenty of talent to work with as the Irish return six starters from last year.

The Bulldogs have yet to win a national championship under Kirby Smart, but it’s only a matter of time if he keeps recruiting like this. Georgia again signed an incredible class, and the depth is now at Alabama and Clemson levels. Even though they lost some of their top players to the NFL, they have plenty in the cupboard.

Florida -14 vs Tennessee

This was one of the best rivalries in college football in the 1990s, but Florida has won 13 of the last 14 meetings and they are heavy favorites once more per the college football betting odds.

We won’t have a good idea of Tennessee’s quality before this game. The Vols start their season against Georgia State, BYU, and Chattanooga, and they are going to be sizable favorites in all three games.

The key here will be whether or not Jarrett Guarantano can pass on Florida’s secondary. Guarantano was not bad in his first season under center in 2018, and he has all of his top pass catchers back. The Gators have one of the best cornerback tandems in the country though, so throwing on them will prove difficult.

Texas A&M -3.5 vs Auburn

Last year, the Aggies had a 10-point lead on Auburn with just a little more than five minutes left to play, but the Tigers roared back to get the win. It was a much-needed win for Gus Malzahn, and that victory very well could have saved his job as otherwise Auburn would have gone 2-6 in SEC play.

Texas A&M has one of the toughest schedules in the country this season, but this game comes at a great time. The Aggies host FCS Lamar the week before facing Auburn, and they have a neutral site game against Arkansas the following week.

Texas -10 vs Oklahoma State

Mike Gundy has had Texas’ number. Oklahoma State has won four straight in this series and seven of the last nine after losing 22 of their first 24 meetings with Texas.

The Cowboys have a lot more question marks than usual. Generally, quarterbacks are plug and play in Gundy’s system, but there have been two big changes. Spencer Sanders is likely to win the starting job as a true freshman, and Sean Gleeson is tweaking the offense with some of the unique concepts he installed at Princeton.

Wisconsin +6 vs Michigan

An incredible offensive line has moved on to the next level and Wisconsin enters this season as one of the most inexperienced teams in the country. The Badgers bring back just eight starters from last season, and there are far more defensive concerns than you usually see from a Wisconsin team too.

Both teams will have time to try to install new features before this game, as both Wisconsin and Michigan have byes the previous week. That will give the Wolverines time to rest too after facing the triple option.
