The Grey Cup is here. After a long grind the two teams left standing are the Ottawa Redblacks and the Calgary Stampeders. Calgary was the best team throughout the season and will be the favorite to come away with the championship.
Ottawa, though, put together a solid season and cruised into the Grey Cup with a dominant conference finals showing. This one is expected to be a competitive matchup and it will be interesting to see which team comes out on top.

Calgary and Ottawa have been common entrants into the championship game in recent years. The Stampeders have lost in the Grey Cup two straight years and hopes the third time will be a charm. Ottawa beat Calgary for the 2016 title. This has become a solid rivalry and will be fun to watch in CFL betting.
The Grey Cup between the Ottawa Redblacks and Calgary Stampeders will be held at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada at 6 p.m ET on Sunday, November 25th, 2018.
The Stampeders are listed as 4.5-point favorites to capture the Grey Cup. Calgary finished the regular season with a 13-5 record. The Redblacks went 11-7. Both teams won their conference and had impressive point-differentials, so it is no surprise they are meeting for the championship. The game is at a neutral site so neither side will have the comfort of home in this one in CFL gambling.
Last Time Out
The Redblacks faced off against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the Eastern Final and cruised to the 46-27 victory. Ottawa quarterback Trevor Harris was dominant, as he broke the record for most touchdown passes in a playoff game by tossing six. The Redblacks jumped out to a two-touchdown lead at halftime and never looked back.
Ottawa wide receiver Greg Ellingson had a big game, catching eight passes for 144 yards and a touchdown. If Harris can have that much success again the Redblacks will be able to pull off the upset and claim the Grey Cup.
The Stampeders were in a closer game, pulling out a 22-14 victory over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Eric Rogers scored his third touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter as Calgary finally shook off the pesky Bombers. Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 214 yards and three touchdowns in the contest as the Stamps rallied from an early deficit for the win.
These teams played in Week 3, and Calgary picked up the 24-14 victory over the Redblacks. The Stampeders’ defense was strong in that one and Mitchell threw a pair of touchdown passes. The two teams met again in Week 5 and the Stampeders dominated that one to a tune of 27-3. The defense flexed its muscle even more, keeping the Redblacks out of the end zone.
It has been a long time since those matchups and these teams have changed a bit, but Calgary should be feeling good about its chance to come away with the Grey Cup.

It has been a frustrating stretch for the Stampeders to continually get to the finals but eventually fall short. That will change in this one. Ottawa certainly had an impressive showing in the conference finals but is facing a team in Calgary with great balance on both sides of the ball. The Stampeders are going to get over the hump and come away with the Grey Cup by knocking off the Redblacks.
Ottawa is not going to keep it close enough to cover the spread in CFL wagering.
CFL ATS Pick: Calgary Stampeders 27, Ottawa Redblacks 19
